Summary: Our trip to Florida was a wonderful education for us We flew over 3 000 miles and logged a total of 32 5 hours We used everything we brought along except the winter kit We learned a lot about flight planning navigation weather and border crossing procedures We made new friends had a wonderful holiday at less cost and a whole lot more fun than flying commercially and got home safe and sound with plenty of memories and a real sense of accomplishment Steve and I had a great time the whole trip We shared the workload and made good decisions together aided by our cockpit rule which we adopted from an airline pilot no fighting or drinking below 5 000 feet Image Search Content inclusion
