Are 16yr olds considered "adults" on continental airlines? I was reading their 'Children Traveling Alone' thing on their website but I'm pretty lost. It's probably obvious but I don't get it heh :P "Continental designates children 5-14 years of age as unaccompanied minors when traveling without a companion who is at least 18 years old in the same cabin. Travel arrangements for young travelers can be booked at any of the following: * continental.com * Continental Reservations Call Center * A U.S. Continental Ticket Office * Your local Travel Agent. For reservations booked and purchased on or after Feb. 17, 2008: * Continental will allow unaccompanied minor travel only on Continental Airlines, Continental Micronesia, Continental Express and Continental Connection flights. * Unaccompanied minors under 5 years of age are not accepted. * Unaccompanied minors ages 5-7 may only travel on nonstop flights. * Unaccompanied minors ages 8-14 may travel on any flight (nonstop or connecting) operated by Continental, Continental Micronesia, Continental Express, or Continental Connection. However, travel will not be allowed on the last connecting flight of the day – unless the connecting flight is the only published service to that destination. Unaccompanied Minors are not accepted on flights which require an overnight stay in order to make a connection. * Special supervision for children ages 15-17 who are traveling alone will no longer be offered. * Children under the age of 15 traveling alone may not travel on any flights operated by Continental that connect to/from other carriers, including SkyTeam and other partners." I c&p so you won't have to go find it. Does it mean that you won't need someone over 18 picking up the minor?
How do I activate my free flight ticket? I won a 300 dollar flight ticket (valid for 1 year) by giving up my seat in a recent flight. Now I want to fly from west texas to houston and i saw online that the price is around 300. I want to use my free ticket for this trip. But how do I make a reservation with this free ticket? Should I call Continental airlines and ask them to book the seat for me without me paying anything? Or can this be done online as well?

Can I earn miles on a ticket booked by a travel agent? Hi! recently booked a ticket through a travel agent even though I had a frequent flyer membership with the concerned airline because the fare I was getting was too high. Now that the agent has completed the transaction and given me the confirmation code can I go to the airline website and add my frequent flyer number to the reservation? Thanks! Airline in this case is Continental.
When will I know what terminal to fly from? Hi, I just booked flights to the US with United Airlines. I went to the US earlier this year with Virgin Atlantic and was immediately informed when booking those tickets which terminals I would need to be at. However, with all my United flights (six of them including connections!), there are no terminals listed at all on either my e-ticket, the reservations pages on United & Continental, or when I was choosing which flight to take. Do I find these out later, or do I guess incorrectly on the day and miss my flights? Thanks!

I need copies of receipts for checked baggage.? Three of the charges are through Continental Airlines and the fourth is with American Airlines. The charges are all 35+ days old. I've tried navigating through both airlines' websites but everything I can find about receipts seems to be related to either flight refunds, reservations, and/or ticketing in general, none of which lead anywhere helpful. I can't find any sort of general customer service number to call, either. All I need are the receipts for the $25 baggage fees. I need these copies to turn in to my company's accounting department.
is my ticket still booked? I booked a flight to America with continental airlines three days ago and I still haven't received an email confirming my reservation. Does this mean that my ticket isn't booked?
Cancelling return part of a flight? I have a return flight with Continental, I flew the outbount part of the flight, but am not gonna use the return flight and at this time I don't have any plans to reschedule the flight. Can I still get some kind of a refund or credit for future travel if I call the airline and cancel the return flight? Like with most tickets it's a non-refundable fare. I know I could ask at reservations, but if someone has a similar experience I would like to know in advance what to expect.
Help! Misspelled name while booking flights!? I recently booked (through Priceline) two flights with American Airlines and Continental Airlines but I accidentally added an extra E to my name. I called Priceline and they said they'd already changed it through the airlines but then I called the airlines and they said it hadn't been changed and that they couldn't change the name because it would cancel the reservation through Priceline. I called Priceline again and they said they couldn't change the name on the actual ticket or itinerary but that they'd sent a message to the airlines advising this name change and I'd still be able to board the plane. Please tell me if they will let me on the plane or if I'm screwed? The name is just off by one letter but I'm pretty sure it makes a difference anyway.
How do I go about getting an American Airlines voucher? I am a victim of the recent massive flight cancellations from American Airlines. When my flight was canceled, I called AA and was on hold for approximately 3 hours before speaking to someone. At first, I felt relieved that they were able to find me a flight through Continental. But when I arrived to check in Continental said that while AA had made a reservation, they had not transferred my ticket. By the time I was able to reach someone from American, the flight had departed. And to make it worse, there weren't any further flights going to my destination that day. Since this trip was business related I had to book a flight with Southwest, whom AA does not have a contract with. Being that I booked this flight last minute, it cost me double of what I paid for my original AA flight; Therefore Id like for AA airlines not to give me a refund on my original ticket, but to award me a voucher with a worth comparable to my Southwest flight. Does anyone know how I should go about doing this ?
