Who knows about this Energy Plus company? Keep in mind this is directly related to Northwest Airlines worldperks miles. If you do know this, could you explain it all to me? particularly these questions: i keep using the company of cl&p and i also get the energy plus company? does that i mean i get electricity from both companies? i have to pay both? it says no service changes so i don't know. i can only have one right? it says my existing local utility company will continue, yet it says "switch"? bit confusing?
Flight to Europe on Northwest Airlines (Summer Cash & Miles)? The Spring Cash & Miles only applies if you fly between April 10 and June 9, 2007. Not only that, but all travel that involves the Spring Cash & Miles must be completed by June 12, 2007. The tickets must be purchased no later than May 26, 2007. But what if you aren't flying until late June? Is it worth waiting until the Summer Cash & Miles to redeem your miles for a cheaper flight to Europe? I suspect that more people will travel during the summer, so it will be hard to find a less expensive flight to Europe without a frequent flyer discount. Has anyone had WorldPerks long enough to know whether or not the Summer Cash & Miles is worth waiting for? Or should I just go ahead and buy a ticket to Europe and put more miles on my account? Thank you in advance for your responses.

My parents are trying to decide which credit card to switch to from the old Visa NWA WorldPerks card? They got two envelopes in the mail, one for the AmEx Delta Gold SkyMiles card, and the other for the Visa FlexPerks card. They both had a Visa WorldPerks card from Northwest Airlines but now I guess they have to switch. Both cards have an annual fee, $95 for the Delta card (even though its waived for the first year), and $49 annually for the FlexPerks card if you spend $24,000 that year. They're also having a problem because on their WorldPerks they have 65,000 points that will be forfeited if they take the Visa, or carried over if they get the AmEx. I don't think they are willing to travel or anything to spend it but they would like to know what they should do. What could be considered a better deal (I hear Visa cards are more accepted than American Express so wouldn't it be easier to get more points on the Visa?) If anyone can answer these questions it would be great. Thanks.
Need help Booking 3 tickets (NWA) with Worldperk Miles? Thanks in advance. I need to buy 2 adult tickets and 1 kid ticket to BKK from OKC from Northwest Airline. Each one of us has worldperks miles (Me 74,959, Wife 64,604, Kid 21,564 miles). Each ticket requires 90,000 miles. What's the best way to use worldperk miles in my situation. Do I buy them separately under each ones' account instead of me booking for all of us? Can miles be combined to make a one purchase? And how about if I buy ticket just for myself, I need to purchase additional 90,000-74,959=15,041 miles. I thought that the limit I can buy for myself is 15,000 miles per year. Anyway around it? Please suggest. Thanks. Thanks everyone for the answers. I like Carlos idea: "My suggestion, buy cheap fares to BKK and buy up-grades to First and/or Business with your Miles." but I need some more elaboration. Can anyone help please how to go about doing this? I've never use points to buy or upgrade tickets before. Thanks.
Anyone thinking about entering the NWA promotion called "the Great Race"? This could be a great opportunity for you to earn a bonus 20,000 ("WorldPerks") miles in the Northwest Airlines promotional program called "the Great Race" Please see http://www.fodors.com/forums/threadselect.jsp?fid=2&tid=35103082 for more info. I am not affiliated with Northwest Airlines in any way, except in the sense of being a member of their World Perks program - - and prepared to help YOU (and myself) earn a bonus 20,000 miles! Best wishes, Rex, a physician, in Indiana
amex rewards plus gold card offer - free 50k miles then quit? so i got this offer the other day, which im sure a lot of other people got, spend $500 by the end of april and then get 50,000 membership reward points. So i had the idea of spending the 500, paying it off, transfer them to miles and pay the $25 fee, then close off my account to avoid the fee for next year. Thus getting 50,000 airline miles in my account for only $25. Anyone tried this or see anything wrong with it? I dont see anything so far in the disclosures, but may be wrong... Also, can they transfer the 50,000 miles to a new flyer account, such as one with Continental? Since they dont have northwest worldperks, continental would pretty much be the same thing, but I would have to open a new account to do this. Thanks everyone!
Can somebody please explain redeeming flying points to me please? Hi, I have a northwest airlines Worldperks flying points of 17700 miles. I would like to use this? But, before I do that, I have a question? I called northwest and they told me, they will take 12500 miles/points and would cut 50percent of my ticket. So, is this for regardless how much the tickets cost is? Will I get 50percent off? The woman I spoke to was very unprofessional and couldn't speak clearly.
