Northwest Airlines? Well would they take burned CDs for personal use on the airplane or would they take it? Because I have to save my iPod power for the vacation since their electricity in the Philippines is more powerful than the electricity here and I don't want to screw it up with the electricity here and electricity there when I charge it with the electric charger. And I don't want to bring originals because if I forget them there or something I'll have to buy them again. So would it be okay if I brought copied CDs like that over there or would the people at the airline security thing question me about it if I was going to do something illegal with it. Or like I give my cousins like copies of my favorite songs on those kinds of Cds would they question that too? Like if I write To: lala From: blahblah and it seems personalized is it ok too? Or would the same thing happen?

Can I get credit for an unused portion of my international ticket (northwest airlines)? I purchased a roundtrip ticket from Dallas, Tx to Manila,Philippines. Used the Dallas-Manila portion but didn't use the return. The ticket was purchased from a travel agency. I missed my flight because my wife got pregnant. I was planning on staying only 6months, but now I've almost been here for a year. Can I apply my unused portion for a round trip? It should be around 600-700 dollars credit. Pls help. Any suggestions are appreciated.

i am stuck in the philippines? My name is Landon Weaver formerly of the united states Army. I have recently traveled to the philippines to see my wife and new born daughter. I was to fly back to the U.S. on Aug. 21st at 6:45am . I arrived at the airport at 5:30am. I was told shortly after that my seat had been given away to a stand by because i was not 2 hours prior. When i spoke to one of the agents they told me that it is a policy and i would not be booked on another flight. i was then asked to leave the airport and find another way home. When i returned to my wife's house I proceeded to look on every regulation and faq for Northwest Airlines. Nowhere did i find anything saying two hours or you may lose your seat. Also on their website it states that if you are late to check in you will be re booked on a later flight but when I contacted NWA they first refused to rebook and said that i could buy and entirely new ticket. Also the price for the new one way ticket is almost double of that of my original round trip. I am now forced to become an illegal alien in this country because of their actions and have no money left to get home. I am stuck here in the Philippines. Do i have any legal stance to sue 30M MIN LEFT BEFOR I HIT THE 60 MIN MARK YES I UNDERSTAND I SEE THE REG THAT STATES RECOMMENDED 2 HOURS BUTMUST BE 60 MIN I WAS THERE AT CHECK IN AT 5:30 AND MY SEAT WAS GIVEN AWAY BY THEIR POLICY IT IS MINIMUM OF 60 MIN SO WHY WITH STILL 3O MIN LEFT DID THEY GIVE MY SEAT AWAY

How to Ship a Computer (internationally)? I'm Planning to buy a iMAC in the U.S., the problem is that how will i bring that iMac to the Philippines(currently living country)... I was thinking to ship it by DHL or fed EX, but i'm worried that the freight fee would be not included in the Philippine Custom. or maybe i could include it as a luggage, but I'm afraid there will be trouble. My flight(Northwest Airlines) would be from Philly to Detroit, from Detroit to Philippines... so any opinions or advices?

I would like to fly myself, my wife and our 2.5 yr old daughter around the world but the prices are crazy.? I work in Kuwait and I want to obtain flights from Kuwait (KWI) to Phoenix, AZ (PHX) and then after about 2.5 weeks go to San Francisco (SFO) for a few days then off to Manila, Philippines (MNL) , then after about 2.2 weeks back to Kuwait. The problem is the cost, Northwest Airlines wants to charge about $13,000, I was freaking out and said; heck am I the only one paying for fuel?? I was shocked; I'm supporting the US Army here and find that I may not be able to go back until 1 more year after the fuel prices level off, if that's ever going to happen. It's really frustrating but I am proud to be doing what I'm doing, but I want to see if there is another way or a cheaper way. I appreciate any feedback and checked Travelocity and saw fares @ about $6,700.00 which may be my final alternative and best fares. Sincerely; Michael & Family

Can you fly with an Apple iMac? I will be leaving for the Philippines and bought an iLugger bag. And I'm not sure if the dimensions will fit through the carry-on scanner. Has anyone successfully traveled with a 20" iMac? Did you encounter any problems? Will Northwest Airlines allow you to take a 20" iMac with you on the plane? The OVERALL dimensions are withing TSA specifications. But its a little awkward because it is square and not rectangle. So I'm unsure it will fit through the rectangular scanners. So please let me know if anyone has been able to transport their 20" iMac with you as a carry-on when travelling. Thank you very much!!!

How would I connect the flight of a Philippine Airline flight to a United Airline flight? I am travelling from the Philippines to Los Angeles via Philippine Airlines, it's my first time though to ride this airline, i usually go on a northwest flight, anyway,before i get to LA, i have to stop in San Francisco and from there, take a United Airline flight to LA, my concern is, in nwa, i dont need to go to another nwa check in counter to check my bags again, is this the same for philippine airlines or do i need to have to recheck my baggage in the united airline counters once i get to San Francisco.
