Delta Airlines to El Salvador Baggage Allowance? Hello all... I am flying Delta to El Salvador (from USA) on Sunday. I don't understand the delta baggage allowance its just a giant grid, I don't get it. Could somebody who has flown delta please let me know? I have one carry on and then 1 checked bag. That would be free right? (the checked is under 50 lbs and under 62 linear inches) Or would it not be free? Thanks I purcahsed my tickets today. Don't all Delta flights allow 1 carry-on and 1 checked free?
What is the baggage allowance for Delta Airlines from New York to Toronto? Can I have 2 checked-in luggages free of charge or do I need to pay for every luggage I check-in? Also, what is the weight limit for the carry-on luggage? Is it 18kg? Thank you for your help!
What are the hold baggage allowances on Delta Airlines from London to Miami? I'm travelling from London to Miami in 2 weeks. On reading up on the Delta Airlines website I'm not 100% certain if it's free to have two pieces of hold baggage or if it's just one that's free. If it's just the one how much would the second piece be and is the fee payable on both arrival and departure.
Delta airlines baggage question? Hey all, I have a quick question about baggage allowances on Delta Airlines. This Wednesday, I am flying from Trieste, Italy to Detroit, Michigan, (via Rome and Amsterdam). I will be flying the entire journey with Sky Team airlines, (Alitalia to Rome, KLM to Amsterdam and Delta to Detroit). Anyways, here is my question; I know the maximum weight allowance is 50 LBS, but I can't see if I am limited to ONE suitcase at 50 LBS or can I separate my weight into two separate suitcases. I've tried calling Delta, but seeing as I'm in Italy, (and don't speak Italian), it's been impossible to find someone who can assist me with this. If anyone out there has any advice or knowledge about this, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Cheers and regards!

I have booked flights with delta airlines to the USA, weight allowances? Whos right? I booked with Delta Airlines to go to America in June. I specifically asked what their baggage policy was- was i allowed one or two bags. The assurred me i was allowed two suitcases per passenger. However, i went onto their website just there and it said "as of May 5th we will only be accepting one bag per passenger". I called them up, and they denied ever saying that I could carry two bags- and i cant prove it. Who is right? What can i do?
Baggage Allowance in Flight? When a person is on international travel from US to Asia, what is the maximum baggage limit of check-in luggage for connecting flights within US - connecting flight being Delta Airlines ? Airlines prohibiting carry-on luggage on Canada-US flights but still charging for checked bags. Seriously?!? I'm wondering if I'm missing something between perusing the CATSA website and the Delta Airlines one. But this seems absolutely ridiculous. I understand the need for CATSA to prohibit carry-on baggage to a large extent...I don't have to like it but I get it. But then the airline industry continues to charge for checked bags? I've never liked these fees and I think they're not "a way to compensate for fuel charges." That's what the overweight baggage fee is for. This is just a moneymaking scheme. I've refused to pay it for years and have packed light and carried on. But now since that's prohibited, I find it ridiculous that I'm paying for my checked bag because Canada is not considered an "international" destination, so there is no free baggage allowance. Excuse my rant, but...does anyone else find it ridiculous that flights from Canada ARE considered international, as long as they're prohibiting carry-ons, but as soon as we're going to check our luggage...oops! Now we're not international, and the baggage fees apply. SERIOUSLY?
Snowboards and Delta?!? Delta airlines says I can only have one board. I need to take 2-3 small boards! My snowboard bag will contain all my stuff for a month in the us (From Australia) And I will be able to keep it ll inside the baggage weight allowance. Also, can I take my skateboard as carry on? Like attached to the skateboard straps on my back pack?!
advice on flying with my 3 yr old daughter? you see im flying with my 3 yr old daughter in july i know its a good 5 months away. the flight time with layovers should be no more than 6-9 hrs. what should i pack? we will be going to nc for 2 weeks. its my first time flying with her. im worried about how she will handle it. how can i wear her out? how long of a layover should i look for? packing list for my self and my daughter. im traveling by my self. the flight most likely will be on delta airlines. any one know the baggage allowance. im sure it said 1 carryon then one personal item. i would like to have two carryons, diaperbag, her minisuitcase. but im sure that will be to much for me to carry. thanks in advance
Anyone who flies on Delta and carries on: Could I get away with this? So, according to the "rules" (and probably to force people to check bags when they normally wouldn't), you're allowed only one "personal item," either laptop OR purse ( http://www.delta.com/traveling_checkin/baggage/baggage_allowance/index.jsp ). Would I be able to stick either my laptop or my purse in my clothes bag for overhead, and then carry either the laptop or purse as the second bag? I don't see why not (if it fits in my bigger clothes bag, which it does) except that the airline wants to be jerks and force people to pay for a checked bag. Is there any way this would get "found out" and I'd be forced to check?
Connecting flight luggage question? I'm travelling from Indianapolis to JFK to Kuwait. I booked my domestic flight from Indianapolis to JFK separately (via Delta) from my JFK to Kuwait flight (via Kuwait Airways). So, my two connecting flights were booked separately and there are from different airlines. My question is -- Will I be able to check-in my luggage at Indianapolis airport directly to Kuwait? I was told that travelling from Terminal 3 to 4 in JFK is a real pain especially since I have two big suitcases. Also, what about luggage allowance? Delta only allows a traveler to check in one baggage free of cost but Kuwait Airways allows two. Will Delta allow me to check in both baggage free of cost since I have international connecting flight?
