Southwest Airlines flight with Connection? Later this week my family is flying on Southwest Airlines. We have a flight with a connection in Nashville. Our original flight leaves THURSDAY at 6:45 AM Eastern time and arrives in Nashville at 7:20 AM Central time. The connecting flight leaves at 7:45 Central time to continue to Florida. I have a few questions about this as we've never flown with Southwest. First, when we have to check in for flights 24 hours in advance do we check in at 6:45 AM WEDNESDAY (24 hours before the first leg) or do we have to wait until it's 24 hours before the second leg of the flight? Also, if you check in 24 hours before the FIRST flight can you check in for both flights? Will you be able to print boarding passes for both legs? Lastly, what are the chances of making a connection in 25 minutes. I know there is some padding to the schedule and they have quite a few flights a day with 25 minute connections, so it wouldn't be reasonable to allow these if EVERYBODY missed them, right? Oh, and we're new to this boarding policy. As long as we get A's or B' we'll be able to find at least two seats together, right? Lastly, when in Florida we'll be using my BlackBerry to check in, so I check in and then when we get to the airport our boarding place will be reserved and we print the passes there?

Anyone on Southwest Airlines flight 725 enroute from Philadelphia to Saint Louis? OK so I was waiting to board flight 725 on Southwest airlines and about 15 minutes before boarding began, the person that waits at the begining of the gate (the long thing you walk down that attaches to the plane) to collect the tickets was talking on the intercom and he had a major speech impediment! Was anyone waiting to board flight 725 also and did you hear him speaking. At first, all of us waiting were wondering if he was joking with his voice but it turns out that was how he talked. You could only understand like 10-15 percent of what he said-the rest sounded like "Fnow fording fite feven fenty five"! Was anyone there and did anyone remember him speaking? Thoughts about the woman pulled off the South West Airlines Flight? I'm curious to hear opinions of the young lady who was pulled off the SouthWest Airlines flight because her outfit was too revealing. The pictures of her, wearing her skirt and top were I thought not out of the norm, she was tall, blonde and a bit busty but nothing at all revearling about her top and her skirt was low to mid thigh. They actually showed some of the older SW Airline flight attendents from the 70's wearing hot pants on CNN today. Curious to hear opinions, because this woman was dressed nicely and I have seen some pretty poorly dressed people not get a second look. Think that jealously had anything to do with it? I only saw the picture of her that was shown on the media. She looks fine in it and didn't have a tank top on, she had a top and sweater. My understanding was that it was a female passenger who complained after the boarded the plane and that she was given a blanket to cover herself after getting back on.

I recently flew Southwest Airlines. The flight was delayed. Due to too much fuel put on the plane.? The boarding attendant came on the loadspeaker and said the fuel tech guy put too much fuel in the plane and is now off loading the fuel not needed.
