Does anyone think Southwest Airlines WIll come to Milwaukee,wi? Everytime I fly from the Los Angles area the only airline that flys non-stop is Midwest Airlines. Even though many people love Midwest Airlines, I think they are over rated. Midwests old MD 80 planes don't cut it for me. Usually I fly from Burbank to Las Vegas on Southwest and than from Las Vegas to Milwaukee on Midwest. I avoid LAX at all costs. If Southwest served Milwaukee from Las Vegas and Phoenix I could than connect to Burbank. Another way to get to Milwaukee is to fly into Chicago Midway on Southwest and then take Chicago Orange Line train to Unoin Station and take Amtrak to Milwaukee. Has anyone ever done that? Southwest serves smaller markets like Omaha,NE and Tulsa,Ok. I wrote a letter to Bill Owan in schedule planning. He responded to me and even called me. His company has looked at Milwaukee many times. He feels that Midwest Airlines has too much power over the local market. He told me that Southwest will probably come to Milwaukee is Airtran buys Midwest.

Does Southwest airlines have several planes painted in the Maryland One and California One Livery? I am a F.O. flying CRJ's into and out of Orlando(MCO). When taxiing in, I often see the eye-catching painted flags of Maryland, Texas and California on Soutwest airpanes. I have always thought that there was only one of each with those particular paint schemes, but with the frequency which I see them, there has to be more than one. Maybe its because I remember seeing them as opposed to the regular paint scheme. I have asked my friend who is a F.O. at Southwest, but he doesn't know either.

Southwest Airlines lowered the cost of my ticket after I bought it- can I cancel and rebuy? In January Southwest was having some sale and it seemed like a good price. I got one way from Tulsa to Houston for $79. Now they are listing the same flight for $65. I know my money cannot be refunded because I picked the lowest category, but it says I can cancel and get credit for a "later flight". Can I cancel, get credit, and rebook the same flight keeping the $14 credit? Please Advise!
