How come airline tickets are so spendy?
Im looking for airline tickets from Little Rock,AR to Minneapolis,MN but tickets are $450 how come there so much money it should be half that. Tickets to London are only $350 why is that?

- Airline pricing is very complex and tied into supply and demand. If there are few airlines that fly from Little Rock to Minneapolis, the pricing will be high. In a more competitive situation, with a lot of air line carriers on a route (such as to London), pricing will be lower. There's also a lower per passenger cost on the larger planes used for trans-Atlantic flights. Air fare to Europe in October and November and mid-December is very low -- but the price of $350 for a round-trip ticket to London probably doesn't include the airport fees and government taxes. On London flights, these are over $300 per ticket. Try pricing your flight with nearby airports to find a "special sale" with a regional carrier. Good luck finding your cheap air line tickets!
