cheap flights?

I've heard that you can get cheaper airline tickets if you buy them online between midnight and 4am? Is that true? Also, does anyone know of any places online that offer cheap flights?

1. Don't know if that is true, but depending on where you are going and where you are flying from try the low cost airlines www.jetblue.com www.southwest.com www.spiritair.com also worth checking www.kayak.com - this site checks lots of other sites and displays the best prices
2. to-day software controls routes and airliner capacities, thus the time of the day has nothing to do. Unless you get lucky to book when a fare is going down. see: www.farecast.com www.farecompare.com www.kayak.com benchmark with www.orbitz.com or www.priceline.com
3. I don't understand why sometimes I get a price for certain flight and dates, then I check someother time and the price goes up, then next time it goes down and so forth.
