- Nope, the wireless function must be disabled inflight.
- Nope.. not yet. I believe some airlines are workshopping it now, but no one that i am aware of has it yet..
- No. When you get on the airplane, the captain will ask that everyone turns off their cell phones and laptops and anything electronic because their afraid that it can mess up the communication with the radio tower.
- Wireless will not be offered on any US airline. Still forbidden by the FAA. Airlines that do have internet, allow it via an ethernet port on the armrest. You have to plug in to use it, and the signal is routed via a shielded cable, out of the aircraft through an external antenna. 1st class only so far.
