  1. My experience with Continental Airlines is great! Eventhough I haven't traveled to Europe with them, I've traveled on Continental back from Ottawa Canada and the timing was the best I have seen. I had a connecting stop in Newark and it got into Newark within 1 hour and left Newark and arrived in Baltimore in under 25 minutes. YES 25 minutes. The flight attendant was handing out drinks and a snack as we were about to land being it was that quick of a ride but I can't blame them at all.
  2. I've flown Continental transatlantic several times in recent years. They're fine--about like any other airline. They do fly 757s on some routes across the ocean, which only have 1 aisle, but it was o.k.--considering they were cheapest at the time. Continental flights earn miles on my Northwest Airlines frequent flyer account, and can be redeemed on partners Delta, KLM, Air France, and of course Northwest.
  3. Continental are very good. My last trip with them was London - Newark - Lima (Peru), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) - Newark - London. Great service on all legs and I went on 777s, 767s, and 757s. They're generous with the frequent flyer miles as well. Make sure you sign up and claim them.
  4. Over all not bad. Better than American or United, about even with Delta & Northwest. I've flown Continental to South America (Peru), Central America (Costa Rica) and Europe (Netherlands). If you found a good price on tickets go for it. They are about as good as you are going to get for either an American or European owned airlines.
