1. They have the same engines and chassis and suspension so the reliability is the same. I like the Continental GT because it is a hardtop. Stiffer and handles better, which means better performance around a race track.
2. Under the fancy bodywork they are both the same car. All you have to do is decide - 2 doors or four.
