Question about buying a Rolls Royce Phantom.?
I was thinking about buying a 2007 Rolls Royce Phantom, but many people have been telling me that it's not a good investment, I test drove it, and I really like it, but I'm not sure it's worth the $475,000. I already have a Bentley Continental GT, and a Lamborghini Gallardo, and think that a RRP would be a great 3rd car. Someone please respond with your opinion if you think I should buy it. Thank you!

- No, buy a Honda
- A Rolls Royce Phantom is more of a car to be driven around in and not to drive. It depends what kind of a person you are. I'm a car enthusiast and would rather spend 500k on a Carrera Gt or something I can have alot more fun with. Its all about what you want.
- Yes, but look at the 08's
- buying a car like this is purely a personal thing. It's obvious to me you can afford it, and if that isn't the problem and you would like to be seen by those in the know as a wealthy person who is not concerned about what people think, then go agead and buy it. Most opinions (out of jealousy) of those who see you in a car like that (town Car type, should be chauffeur driven), will make negative comments unless you live in a flashy city like Beverly Hills, Belair, New York around the park or Dallas. Hope this helps. One more thing. One looks like a chauffeur if one drives it him/her self. roy
- I agree with Andrew T. If you are going to spend that much go for the carrera gt. I also think an f430 would be a nice addition to your collection. But if you love the phantom get it.
- I went to a car show and saw one of those cars face to face. It was love at first sight. I think it is a definite must. It is well worth it.
- Buy it for fun, not an investment. Cars are horrible investments, at leasts ones that you drive daily, there are exceptions with rare cars of course but I hope your not expecting a car to end up being a good investment.
