What Car should I go for next?

Hello, If you read some of my other posts, you will see what other kinds of cars that I own. But, to break it down - I have 4 Cars right now - A Civic DX(daily car), Prelude SH(show car), NSX(weekend car), and a Caterham Superlight-R (Track car). 3 of the, run 11's in the 1/4 mile. I publish a Ferrari Magazine, I used to own a 1998 Ferrari F355 F1 Spyder, but then I was hit in traffic in Orange County Traffic (I HATE traffic). I am considering purchasing one of the following; 2006 Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster 2005 Ferrari F430 2006 Lotus Elise 2000 Viper GTS ACR 2006 Viper GTS Or, maybe even a 2005 or 2006 Bentley Continental GT. I just cant make up my mind. Money is not an issue for me right now, but don’t say "McLaren F1!", because - I am not going to spend 1.2 mill on a car. And besides - I've driven one--and they aren’t that great, very unforgiving cars. If anyone has any other suggestions, please do not hesitate to post them. MJ@gmail.com Thank you, M. J Also, keep in mind that I have been racing for 11 years. I want a car that I can have fun with. I live up in the mountains, and I love the roads around here. I pretty much know what I am going to buy off of that list, but I want to know what others think of it. Now, you may think to yourself, "If this guy has so much money and these nice cars, why is he posting things on this website?" Answer is simple. When I am at home, after I am done working and planning the layout for my next issue, I become very bored. I don’t have kids, and I am not married, I do live with my Girlfriend right now, but she is in LA at the moment. One night, while checking my e-mail, I discovered this place...I find it interesting, and I love to know what other peoples opinions are, that’s why I write. Also, I love to test the boundaries of my knowledge, and share it with other people. -M.J. to: dwn#@&y I had a 1974 Porsche Carrera RS lightweight. With the blue Racing stripe. Loved it. Wouldnt own another one, though. To people who want to contact me, I put the wrong email address in my initial post. E-mail me @ Maxwell222000@yahoo.com -M.J. to: halladayrules I have been racing cars for 11 years. Oversteer is not a problem for me. My NSX does it, so does the Caterham.

  1. the lotus' are nice.
  2. if you can't make up your mind why do you need one? even if $ is not the issue obviously your self-esteem and self-image are. use the xtra $ u have 2 get some self help books
  3. buddy! you say you live in the mountains, i cant believe a porsche is not on that list! designed with that kind of driving in mind they are the "peoples supercar" easier to drive, cheaper, and they punch above their weight, that is, serve it up to alot of other supercars but cost significantly less 1974 911 carrera rs white with red carrera written along the bottom of the door
  4. I hear the old Yugos are pretty swift... if you can't shell out for that, go for a Gremlin... and throw on some ground effects and spinners for visual appeal.
  5. GO for a Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla, Honda Accord and Honda Civic, they get good gas mileage and they have a very good reliability record.
  6. Everybody answered this question like crap.Let me give you the real answer. Working WITH your list, the Dodge Vipers are the most powerful cars for the money-- especially the 2006. You'll get 500 horses for about 90 grand. Lotus, although somewhat rare and exotic, is the worst car on your list. No cupholders or air conditioning, no rolldown windows in the coup version, EXTREMELY little "trunk" space, and no extra faatures such as cruise control make this car a living hell. Since you are willing to spend all of this mucho mula, I personally suggest that you narrow your search to the two best: the gallardo and the F430 spiders. The gallardo spider costs 200 grand, while the F430 cost about 210 grand. The Ferrari, however, is worth it. More room and space, better visibility (believe me, I sat in both), and most of all better handeling and stoppage than the gallardo spider. Can you believe that the gallardo spider has more horsepower? Not enough to handle all of the extra weight. So, the car that you should buy is ths F430. Prestige and everything else included. You'll love it! Please vote for me as best answer.
  7. The Honda S2000 is nice...it has a near 50/50 weight distribution which allows for excellent steering control...the viper is a sweet car but oversteering is a big issue with that car (unless your an expert) Who knows I dont even have a license...heck I haven't droven a car yet...but I am learning...just got a 1987 Honda Accord DX 2.0L 4 cyl automatic.... for $800
