Continental Airline Tickets

Have you Flown Business Class on Continental airlines to Latin america on a boeing 737?

My best friend and I are considering buying Business class tickets on Continental airlines to somewhere in Central America like Costa Rica or Mexico. Now my question is their Business class any good on a 737 aircraft?and what about their meal service on a 4-5 hour flight?I know on bigger aircraft Business class cabin have alot offerings like big comfy chairs, bigger headsets, foot rest, meals on porcelian and crystal..but what is their service like on a flight to Central america thats 4-5 hours?I dont want to pay 3 times the price of a coach class ticket only to get just a bigger seat.So would love to hear from those of you who have flown Continental airlines Business first class to Central america and tell me about your experience. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. I've flown business class on Continetal before when I was going to Curacao, an island next to Aruba. The seats are not that roomy, they're not like how other airlines have business/first class. The food is not that good, definitely not worth what you pay for the ticket, and I'm sure it's gotten worse since gas is so expensive. I hate Continetal too because they made me miss my flight when I was returning from the island. They didn't know what they did with my flights luggage, and an hour later it came on the conveyor belt! They wouldn't hold my flight, or any of the passengers flights, even though it was on a different Continetal flight. In my opion I wouldn't fly with them, and I'd recommend flying with another airline. Try one that is exclusive to Latin America, such as one that is native to the country you're flying to. It will probably be roomier, and offer better service.
  2. Houston-Cancun, about 2 hours and change...I think lunch was a salad, soup & sandwich (the soup was so hot it was bubbling over! kind of a strange choice, too, on a flight between two warm places)....crew was friendly (as one would hope for in First!) & kept the drinks coming, seating was 2-2 configuration; I'm a big guy, and was plenty of room for me. I would not hesitate to recommend CO--of all the US majors, they seem to have the least "attitude" Buon viaje!
