What do you think of NWA(Northwest Airlines)?

I'm taking a trip to the Manila, Philippines from North Carolina and I wanted to know what to expect on all the flights over there. So if you could tell me a little about the airline and what to expect that would be great!!!

1. They are sometimes Boeing 757s but they are over all good flights, even though i am scared of flying but you have to go...
2. The service should not be bad. Since you are flying from North Carolina, you will probably connect in Detroit or Minneapolis and then travel to Toyko's Narita International before ending up at Manila. The flight to Japan should be a 747-400 and they do have TV's in the backseat. You can watch movies and play video games. I would recommend packing some food with you. Everything at the airport is expensive and who knows what snack you will be served on the first leg of your journey. Hope you enjoy your trip!
3. Their services are not bad.But the food they serve still have a lot of improvement that could be made.Maybe you could take a domestic flight to a larger city airport and then take Philippine Air.Asia's airline are normally better.
