Can you fly with an Apple iMac?

I will be leaving for the Philippines and bought an iLugger bag. And I'm not sure if the dimensions will fit through the carry-on scanner. Has anyone successfully traveled with a 20" iMac? Did you encounter any problems? Will Northwest Airlines allow you to take a 20" iMac with you on the plane? The OVERALL dimensions are withing TSA specifications. But its a little awkward because it is square and not rectangle. So I'm unsure it will fit through the rectangular scanners. So please let me know if anyone has been able to transport their 20" iMac with you as a carry-on when travelling. Thank you very much!!!

1. You absolutely need to ask the airline. Different aircraft have different size carry on storage. TSA won't know anything about it.
2. I'm not sure if the Apple mac will fly! does it come with wings? (well you didnt say you were taking it on a airplace yoy ask can you fly with a apple mac!
3. You can bring it of course but security will be sure to check it, you may need to turn it on. You need to turn it off for takeoff and landing also.
