Will Continental leave Air Team affilliation or does this give United two affiliations due to the merger?

1. Continental and United have not merged yet. Northwest Airlines will probably not let that happen since Northwest and Continental have a code share agreement where Northwest is pretty much in charge. Continental cannot merge with United unless they have Northwest's blessing.
