Continental Airline Tickets

How do I deal with my alergic reaction to cats when taking an airline flight.?

I couldn't breathe on a recent airline flight because of a cat in the cabin to rows behind me. While this is my first experience with an animal in the passenger cabin apparently it is not uncommon. A lot of people have posted they have had the same problem. The airline representation stated the cat had priority over me and wouldn't put the animal in the cargo hold. They won't even tell me ahead of time what flight doesn't have any cats. Any ideas.

  1. Well i would say benidrel or . Try to fly southwest because they dont allow pets in the cabin . If this doesnt help please email me and ill tell you more
  2. Small jets belong to individuals. There is only one company that takes the time to aid the passenger with personal factors. That is United. All others are rented jets, recycled belonging to military business clubs, or rebuilt by airline cargo. The new jet of an individual may not be in their possession in the daily inspected, operated or reviewed commission. Check carefully about what office operates the actual flight scheduel. Though they try to comply, the fact is there are no overview experts to guide the use of traveler business and the experts in place may not have every site under their guide. Best idea is book the flights with a fare travel agent. Here is a good one. http://www.orbitz.com
  3. The airline my wife works for, will make new seating arrangements. The cat goes to one end of the aircraft, and you go to the other. When you fly, always keep a medical certificate with you detailing your allergy. When you check in, make sure the counter folks know you have an animal allergy. They will know if there's going to be an animal flying in the cabin, but they won't know ahead of time until passengers are checking in. If you find you are seated too close to an animal, inform the flight attendant, and they should make an attempt to move seating around to accomodate you and the animal. Remember that if the animal is a service animal, by federal law they are protected under the American's With Disabilities Act (should you also be allergic to dogs). Even Southwest MUST allow those. If the airline refused to make any effort to accomodate you, and you have shown them you medical certificate, then you have recourse by filing a claim against the airline.
