Anyone stuck in the middle seat on a long Airline Flight?
I got stuck sitting next to a couple huge men on a long international airline flight. They went to sleep as soon as the flight took off and made it impossible for me to get out to the aisle to use the restroom and walk around. I was held hostage for 9 hours in a cramped seat from hell. I thought I would go insane from the claustrophobia. Can you relate?

- I know how you feel, I actually flew overseas and it was me in the middle, my grandma on 1 side sleeping and the other my sister sleeping as well Both are fairly larger as am I so it was quite difficult. I feel your pain
- Yes. I think that people who sleep on planes should be legally obligated to avoid aisle seats. At the very least, the trapped person should have the right to wake up the aisle sleeper guilt-free if he needs to get up.
- I remember my trip from hell... I had a FAT SLOB of a woman... she had TWO belt extensions... on the aisle side and a FAT SLOB of a man on the window seat who smelled like he hadn't had a bath for a month. The plane was full so I was stuck... but I will NEVER forget that flight.
- I got a middle aisle seat on a long haul flight. Luckily the plane was only half full and I got to use all 3 seats to sleep on the whole journey. I do feel for what you went through!
- Unfortunateley I am a person who grew accustomed to flying in first or business class. SO when i flew from Los angeles to Miami in coach it sucked especially knowing that we had missed the earlier flight where first class seats are available.
- Yep, happened to me going from LA to Seoul/Incheon. 11 hours!
