On my flight from Fresno, California, to Seattle, Washington, to Ketchikan, Alaska. I would fly with Horizon Airlines from Fresno to Seattle, then switch to Alaska Airlines. I would prefer flying the chinchilla with me on board. I checked the regulations and I thought since they allow rabbits on the plain, they'd allow chinchillas because they're from the same family. The Chinchillas are allowed to be in California, Washington and Alaska, so I want to know if I can bring them. Alaska/Horizon Airlines said, "Pets allowed in the passenger cabin are dogs, cats, rabbits, household birds, and tropical fish. Dogs and cats must be at least eight weeks old and must have been fully weaned for at least five days prior to travel. The pet must stay in its container (including head and tail) at all times while onboard, and be stowed under the seat during taxi, takeoff, and landing. Animals with offensive odors or those that create a noise disturbance must travel in the climate-controlled baggage compartment." Please help.
