  1. lufthansa
  2. Where are you going to?
  3. That would depend on where you are traveling from and to.
  4. The cheapest one.
  5. i heard that the best one was american or the united -have a safe trip!
  6. you should fly southwest if it goes where you want to go!!!!!!!! very easy to check in at the austin airport!!!!!!!
  7. Which ever one has the best schedule and price for your trip. I try to stay away from American and I refuse to fly United. United stranded me at Dulles and customer service complained because having to deal with everyone they stranded was cutting into their party time. When I finally got home United told me they could care less if I ever flew on them again. I have Elite status with Continental, so they are always my first choice.
  8. Avoid United at all costs. Their hub at Washington-Dulles is miserable, and Chicago isn't much better. I've been on unsanitary United airplanes (toilets overflowing and far worse that I won't even mention), and literally every time I've flown United over the past 5 years, my luggage has gone missing. I've flown hundreds of times on other airlines without it ever happening, so that leads me to believe that United is incompetent. The other 3 airlines you mentioned are all pretty good though, especially Continental. They're probably the best domestic US airline. Northwest is also extremely good. USAirways has improved SO much in its customer service the past couple years it's amazing, they're actually a very good airline now, and it seems like I've found really good fares on them lately too. But anything other than United is really good.
  9. Don't forget about NorthWest airlines depending on where you live, there always really good.
  10. American.
  11. Out of these four, I would say Continental. I have always enjoyed my flights with Continental. The seats are comfortable and at least there is somewhat of a meal still served on board at no extra costs. The snack boxes that are served on the other carriers are nothing but junk food.
