An airline flight was cancelled and rescheduled. I returned the ticket for a refund.?
It has been 9 months and still have not received my refund. What legal recourse do I have?

- You have the right to a refund.. Get a lawyer.. and sue them.. Take care.. Bcn_mimosa
- I would call the airline/ and or get a copy of the fine print on your ticket(that probably would give you details) Leaving it 9 months could be a problem however. good luck
- have you tried contacting them? If so and youve had no joy write a final letter and send it recorded delivery giving a deadline (two weeks after the date of the letter say) for payment and threaten to take out a case in the small claims court if you do not receive payment by that date. Then start a claim - see http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/infoabout/claims/index.htm
- You may have a small problem. If the flight was rescheduled, you could have use the ticket for that flight or you can use it within one year. You just cannot return a ticket and expecting you refund. Did you filled-up tghe paperwork with the airline or you just mail you ticket and ask for a refund? Did you actually read the contract you had with the airline at the time of purchase?? Did you buy the ticket directly with the airline or on-line? 9 months seems way too long.
