- no a weak battery won't effect it. why are you wanting to have it towed to a garage? if it runs you can drive it with the back down it will be rough but it won't hurt it. The air system should never lose air if it does something is wrong. You probably should check on a conversion kit because your system is starting to have lots of problems there are so many switches and relays and other component that make the system work and 1994 its old so either get rid of the car or get it switched to conventional suspension
- The whole air system runs off of the battery, or the alternator when the car is running. My air ride started to act up when the winter weather hit. The air lines freeze, and air cannot make it to the air springs. All i know is I replaced my four air springs with coil springs form Strutmasters.com. Your car will have 4 air struts. That is a shock and a Spring combination. If you can make it until spring, just drive it carefully, and replace the whole system, you'll be so happy after you do. You'll always come out to your car, and it will be at the correct height. - On my '96 Town car, I took out the air suspension and replaced with regular springs I got from StrutMasters (best thing I have done, ride is just as good and no more costly repairs on the bags that will just need to be repaired again..replace with regular springs..you will not regret)
