Continental Airline Tickets

What is the max size of soft-sided dog carriers that Continental airlines will allow in-flight?

I am traveling with my puppy schnauzer (4 months) and I heard that hard carriers have to be 9" high, but does anyone have any experience with soft sided ones? If anyone has taken their pet in-flight on Continental please share your experience. Also, if anyone knows the height underneath seats on Continental airlines that would be GREAT, too!

1. They should have a section on their website that gives the maximum dimensions for carry-on luggage. If not, you could always call the 1-800 number and ask. Good luck!
