Continental Airline Tickets

How hard is it to switch Continental flight dates?

Is this even possible? My mom was supposed to come visit me in Miami in December, but now we've decided that I'm just going to come home for Thanksgiving. Is it possible to switch her flight as in, can we switch the dates and can i use the ticket? sorry this is confusing.

1. Nope. She could change the dates for her tickets, for a fee. However, you can't change the name on an airline ticket.
2. You can change the ticket's date, you have to call Continental because they have to review the rules of the ticket. But tickets are non-transferable, so you can't change names.
