  1. American.
  2. Continental. They are way classier than any of the others up there. They are also the only one who isn't undergoing severe financial turmoil, and they have a pretty comfortable fleet.
  3. It depends where your travelling to. If you're travelling domestically or short-haul then Continental offer a slightly better service - mainly complimentary snacks, drinks, and meals at meal-times. If travelling long-haul then they're all pretty similar in terms of service and product - althought NW and Continental may have a slight edge. I'd go Continental whatever because they're a cut above the other carriers.
  4. Continental. Second choice would be United. Northwest, Airtran, and US airways are the worst.
  5. Pick the one that flies where you want to go from where you are. All of these airlines, except for Airtran, have been around for a long time. It will not do you any good to pick THE BEST airline (in some term or other) if that particular airline does not fly from where you are to where you want to go. Regards, Dan
  6. It's six of one, half a dozen of another. They are all pretty much the same. If any of these have nonstop flights for the destinations you are looking for...I would take that over a flight where you would have to change planes. It just makes things easier. After that, I would consider the price.
  7. American Airlines.
  8. I would factor in the price of the airline ticket, whether or not there are any connections and what frequent flier mileage program you belong to (if any). Also look at which airline gives you the most convenient flight times. If there is a connection, see how long you will have to wait.
