How much does a plane ticket on a GOOD airline usually cost?
What do I mean by good? Uh, let's say: Jet Blue American Airlines Continental? Whenever my family flies we usually go continental but I never asked my parent how much a ticket costs. ALSO, do the prices of tickets go up if you are flying internationally or have connecting flights? How does that work. You don't have to answer that I was just wondering how much a ticket costs flying WITHIN the country.

- There is no "usual" cost for a plane ticket. It depends on where you are flying from, where you are flying to, what season, day of the week, and time of day you're flying, when you buy the ticket, the airline, and restrictions (or lack of restrictions.) It is literally possible (though somehwat less likely than a few years ago) for every single passenger on a jumbo jet to have paid a different price.
- Oh man, International I would transfer flights ( way too much money to spend on 1 ticket ). Jet Blue is great with deals but there is no "real" price.
- airline fares generally have the following reasons for differential fares. It depends on - what airline you are flying - how far are you going - how much in advance are you booking - what time of the day is the flight (peak versus non peak) - what class you are flying (eco or first) - what season is the flight for (around holidays it is more expensive) - how booked is the flight once you know all the above answers, the fare gets determined.
