1. continental...it just seems cleaner and more comfortable
2. I ALWAYS FLY DELTA AND AMERICAN AIRLINES, BECAUSE THEY GO TO WHERE I NEED TO BE.
3. I've flown with all three airlines, more than once, and I have to go with Airtran Airways. Plus their planes have radio stations and they give you free headphone that plug into the arm rest with a lot of different stations.
4. Depends on the route and flight length. 3+ hours = Continental. Less than 3 = whoever's cheapest.
5. I fly standby everywhere I go, and I always carry tickets for each airlines, so whoever has the open seat is where I'd be. But, I'd go with Continental over any of the other two. Generally their planes are cleaner and they are more efficient than the other two. If you are going to check any bags in, definitely do not choose Us Airways. They are consistently the worst airline when it comes to losing passenger baggage!
