Can Continental Airlines employees who fly standby in First Class now wear Jeans?
Can Continental Airlines employees who fly standby in First Class now wear Jeans? I heard that they changed their dress code policy for employees who are flying standby in First Class...Can the employee's now wear Jeans in first class on Stand-by? What about Company Business?

- When you work for any airline and you have a free ticket in first on business class or an upgradable one, you may under no circumstances where jeans. You must wear a suit or similar.
- It really doesn't matter if they changed the rules or not, if you want to get on first class standby, dress as nicely as you possibly can. Whether you like it or not, the nicer you look the more chance of success you will have. I was a travel agent for years and I managed to get many upgrades on regular stand by tickets. The key is looking nice and just as importantly, being nice to everyone. The counter and gate people get treated badly by people all the time, a little extra niceness goes a long way with them, trust me.
