Can i chage my port of entry in india while comng from USA

I booked ticket to india from USA.So my question is that can i change my port of entry form mumbai to delhi.I booked my ticket in continental airways from IAD to HYD.i got a connection in MUMBAI.I HEARD THAT MUMBAI AIRPORT IS NOT THAT GOOD HANDLING PASSENGERS LUGGAGE.im planning to change my port of entry from mumbai to delhi!!

1. Sure, provided Continental flies to Delhi and that they have spare capacity. Also, depending on the class of ticket you bought, there could be a change fee.
2. This is not a problem. Once you have an Indian Visa you can depart/arrive into any port you want. The only problem you might face is the change fees to reissue your ticket, these can be quite expensive and you may have to pay extra taxes.
