Continental Airline Tickets

Any secrets on where to find cheap emergency flights?

My friend needs an emergency flight into DFW (TX) from (MT) I can't find ANYTHING under the price of $780.00 or so. And no Red Eye? I guess? Anyone have any travel secrets to share? I tried all the travel sights (travelocity, orbits, cheap flights etc...) all to no avail. Frustrating, in a serious way! Thanks so much for any help!
