- You Can't. The Reason is because Delta, and United Are Competitors. They do not share business between eachother. United Airlines Partakes *and was a founding member* of the Star Alliance for Airlines. these are its partners and the Companys that it works with to make Better profits *through codeshare* http://www.staralliance.com/en/travellers/index.html Delta Airlines is a Member of Skyteam http://www.skyteam.com/ You can fly with Any of the Star Alliance Members and redeem Miles, But you must book through United's Site and they will pull your Itinerary on other flights in their Star Alliance Network to get you to your destination if need be. and yes, Delta/Frontier are Rediculous, Them and American. I'll never fly either again. Low Cost Southwest, to everywhere Else, United and its Partners.
- United and Delta are separate companies. One company allowing you to use benefits accrued on a competitor would be self defeating. your United mileage plus benefits only work on United flights. Think about it, if Del Taco gave you a coupon for a free taco, why would Taco Bell honor it? Its just money thrown away.
