Continental Airline Tickets

i accidentally bought 3 airline tickets, but only need 2. what to do!!?

last night, on delta.com, i put info in for my dad and i to go to south carolina. my route of payment is my visa card that is linked to my checking account. i clicked purchase after carefully reading the intnerary and thought everything was fine. immediately i got a message saying that i had insufficient funds and that one ticket MAY have been purchased. i called delta this morning to see what was up since i never got a confirmation number or anything and to see if it was just a pre auth. anywho, i called today and i could barely understand them and they said that it was fine and that i could get both the tickets over the phone with a schedualing agent. ok, how could that go wrong?? well, i ended up with two more tickets on top of the one that i got last night. i didn't know that i had bought one last night. i'm currently on hold with delta to see what they can do. what do you think...i'm a dummy, eh?? haha...

  1. Demand a refund. Tell them it is not your fault that their system is not running properly and you should be given your money back. Also save the name and number of the person who you are speaking too, or remember if you can the name and number of the agent you were speaking with. If they refuse, demand to speak with their manager or supervisor. Explain the situation to them telling them you did not know you had bought an extra one because of the way they were handling things. Make sure you let them know you are angry and will never do business with them again if they screw you over, and that you will also tell many others how badly they handle their customers. They'll jump for you in most cases. Good luck!
