in a 1 mile drag race which car would win?

a bentley continental GT or a audi R8 in a straight 1 mile road. i think its the bentley but i could be wrong.

2. The Bently is HEAVY ( 5200 lbs!). The R8 only weighs 3400 lbs. In a one mile race speeds will get quite high, so the R8's aero-dynamics will give it a further advantage. Power to weight is also a factor. the R8 has less weight to pull and when you are talking acceleration that means alot. The R8 has 8.2lbs for every HP it makes, and the Bently has 9.4 lbs for every HP it makes. That means that in terms of acceleration the R8 should easily beat the Bently over the course of 1 mile. The Bently does have a higher overall top speed but it would need half a dozen miles to get there.
3. audi r8 the weight in the power to weight ratio for the bentley is so bad you should know that.
4. Good question. 0-60 and 1/4 mile, the R8 is a bit faster, but the Bently's extra power might help it accelerate faster at higher speeds. It would be very close.
