I have a Pakistani nationanlity and are currently living in norway. What I want to do is to make a stopover in Dubai / Abu Dhabi for less than 96 hours. Soo i that case I am going for a transit visa which I can apply on arrival in Abu Dhabi / Dubai, soo I am wondering about the statement "gurantee from the airline" is this soms special document or is it enough with a confirmed ticket to a third country within 96 hours...? Those with transit times longer than 8 hours, up to a max. of 96 hours, are permitted to leave the transit area by applying for a 96 hour transit visa on arrival, which will be under guarantee from the airline. Passport must be left with Immigration until departure. Passenger must hold pre-booked hotel reservation. Visa can be issued by City Stop counter (Arabian Adventures). Fee: USD 122.-. Non-compliance with transit regulations may result in a fine of AED 500.- for the carrier.
