Airport Carry-On bag regulations...?

I'm going on a trip soon, and need to know how large or small i need my carry-on bag to be. I'm traveling on Frontier airlines, and am hoping to bring my Vera Bradley bag which is fairly large. Please help me! :D

  1. carry on baggage on most airlines now a days is getting more and more regulated you would be wise to certainly not go larger than the dimensions the airline stipulates as for weight they have every right to put it on the scales ? i believe the dimensions should not exceed 49 linear inches that is 9.5 high x 15.5 width x 24 long and it can not weigh more than 35 pounds you are usually allowed in addition to this a laptop or brief case and or hand bag for the ladiesat the end of the day common sense should be a good guide if you feel it is maybe to big ask when you check in, there are good reasons why these restrictions are in place and although some feel lets push the point and try to get away with it if have you ever seen someone really struggle once in the aircraft to 1 get there bag into the over head locker because they can't even lift it and then looking around for help ! and then 2 during take off, in flight and landing the over head locker periodically falls open or 3 when the person with the oversize or over weight bag then gets sent back to recheck their bag resulting in the flight being delayed! you would then understand how annoying and stupid these people really are let alone a danger to others. top tip if you can not lift it up over your head with ease, do not take it. hope these dimensions help you have a safe and enjoyable flight
  2. http://www.frontierairlines.com/frontier/faqs/baggage-faqs.do They have everything on their own site, I am surprised you did not check it.
  3. Hi, Looking at the Frontier airline website, it says 'Your carry-on bag's dimensions can't exceed a total of 49 linear inches ( 9.5" height + 15.5" width + 24" length) and the bag can't weigh more than 35 pounds.'. Also don't forget to check the airline you're returning with (if it's different). Happy traveling!
