How is cold buffet different from continental breakfast?
One hotel booking site is offering a room with cold buffet breakfast and the other the same room with continental breakfast. First one is a bit cheaper than the second one. I wonder now in what way the cold buffet is different from continental breakfast and what I can expect to get in cold buffet.
Public Comments
- I guess the cold buffet would include fruits and juice and I would think it is a more substantial breakfast where as the continental would only be coffee and croissant
- continental is horrible thats my opinion its the same as cold
- Go for cold buffet breakfast which is usually served in the Restaurant of the hotel and gets you a bigger choice to include juice, cereals, boiled eggs, sliced sausage, and cheese whereas a continental breakfast often is served in your room but only contains of coffee, rolls, butter, and jam. I don't know why they still call that continental breakfast since actually nobody has it for breakfast at home.
