I am about to buy 4 new tires.I want good ones. Many brands to choose! Which of these would you buy?
I have a 99 toyota Solara SLE. V6. The wheels on it are 16 inch Bridgstone tires which have served well. I now need four new tires for this car, and the dealer told me I can choose from the following. HELP! --Here are my choices from the dealer: --BRIDGESTONE---DUNLOP---GOODYEAR---PIRELLI---UNIROYAL---CONTINENTAL---GENERAL TIRE---MICHELIN---TOYOTIRES---YOKOHAMA. I want good premium tires that are safe and ride very smooth and quiet. It is suck a hard and expensive decision, when you don't know one from the other!! Can anyone give me some advice on which tire to choose? Thank you all so much for your help and advice!

- i buy bridgestone because alot of the 18 wheelers have them and they have a good warranty
- You can go to tirerack.com and read hundreds of reviews of individual tires by users. If it is that important to you that you get the very best you should go there and spend the time to get some answers.
- Pirelli's and Toyo's are great tires.
- no coopers? i would get bridgestone, or toyo toyo over bridgestone.
- Yokohama and dunlop mostly make sporty tires. For comfort and quietness, you want Bridgestone or Good year. You can read reviews for the tires that fit your car on www.tirerack.com
- I would choose Yokohama or Toyo. Personally, I think Goodyear is overrated. I've used Dunlops on my truck and while they were quiet, they can get noisy if you don't rotate and balance them at the proper intervals.
