Where in the Constituion is the FAA allowed?
Under what amendment or Clause of Article 8 of the Constitution is government regulation allowed in airline travel, such as with the FAA? NOTE: It will be the same part that allows us to travel anywhere in the U.S.

- inter state commerce clause. look it up.
- It is allowed under the "commerce clause" as interpreted in the case Ogden vs.Gibbons where Justice John Marshall determined that "commerce" included transportation of goods and not just their sale. At that point, regulation of interstate transportation (i.e. as an extension of the concept of "commerce") fell into Federal hands.
