How do I get in touch with Continental Airlines to exchange an unused ticket for a new one?
Last September I was supposed to go to France but school was too hectic so I couldn't. I have until September of this year to use it and I'm planning to go to Hawaii later this month. My ticket is with Continental Airlines but after looking on their website I couldn't find a number to call or information about how to exchange the ticket. They had information about their four places around the world that you could do so at the desk but gave no telephone number. The ticket to Hawaii is about $600 more than what my ticket is (including the $100 exchange fee) so I'm not sure how to buy a ticket with the money left from my old ticket and add the money as well. If anyone could answer even a part of this question that would be a big help. But if you know how to get in touch with someone at Continental that could help me, that would be amazing. Thanks.

- YOUR best bet?? Take it directly to a Continental ticketing facility (City Ticket office or the closest airport served by Continental). You would want to have your dates for your Hawaii trip set and ready to go first and be prepared to pay the difference in fares plus the cancelation/change fees. Talking to someone on the phone and changing your reservation that way, will not guarantee your fare until you have the actual ticket exchanged and paid for. Besides...it's ALWAYS better to talk to someone in person, and to SHOW them what you have, than to try to explain it over the phone. Get it done right the first time and in person instead of finding out at the airport, day of departure, that all was not what the person on the phone thought it was. They can't see what you have in your hand, over the phone....e-ticket or not.
