Male flight attendant: Would a girlfriend have a legitimate concern?

I was accepted into the flight attendant programs of both US Airways and Continental Airlines. My girlfriend at the time was SO concerned! Why? Should she have had a legitimate concern? If I was your boyfriend (or if your boyfriend was a flight attendant) would you be concerned?

1. Maybe...I'm an insecure and jealous person, I'll admit. So *I* would be thinking about all the great places you got to go and cool people [read; women] you'd meet. Not to mention, you'd be spending more time away from me. But if you've done everything you can to be trustworthy and to reassure her, then she'll eventually be OK with it and be happy for you. So you tell us: Should your GF have had a legitimate concern? Only you know...
