How can I get cheap flights?

I love traveling, and I'm a member of spiritair where I get access to lots of cheap flights. However, it only flies to certain places at certain times for cheap airfare. I have a good friend in Texas that I'd like to see more often, so does anyone know what airlines have good deals on a regular basis?

4. I would check out the other discount airlines such as AirTran or Southwest Airlines.
