continental airline tickets?

if i buy tickets online do i have to buy them a week or ahead of time ? or can i just gt them a few days before the flight and just pick them up when im at the airport leaving for my flight?

1. Don't fly continental, bad airline. If you buy a ticket online, just print out the itinerary and take to airport with photo ID.
2. You can buy a ticket almost anytime. You can even walk up to the ticket counter and purchase them. However to get the best price, I would recommend you purchase your ticket at least 14 days in advance. Once you buy your ticket online, you get a confirmation number and can use that confirmation number to check in on the day of your flight.
3. Try to get the cheapest flights possible. Usually seven to 14 days ahead of when you travel is the best price. However, you can get last minute cheap flights some times. Continental is one of the best carriers around right now and I would take them any time. In fact, I have a trip booked next month with Continental and I am excited about the trip. You can book your flight online, which is the easiest way to do things, or you can call and make a reservation, but you may have to pay an extra fee for that. Online is the way to go.
4. You can buy tickets right upto getting to the airport on the day you wish to travel, but I wouldn't recommend it, as prices will be sky high! best to book at least 6 weeks ahead or more, to get more reasonable ticket prices.
