Which is a better airline to travel Jet Blue or American?
I am traveling on vacation from Puerto Rico to New York both American and Jet Blue have similar fares. I always use American for all my travels but I am curious about Jet Blue but can't find anywhere good info that I can use to compare both companies to see how they compare on amenities, leg room, luggage regulations, etc...

- www.seatguru.com is a great place to see info about luggage policies as well as seat dimensions. Just type in your flight info and they will tell you the dimensions of each seat, which ones are cold, etc. Look at the likely American and Jet Blue flights you'll be taking and you can make a wise decision. Both airlines operate under the same regulations and have good safety records. Jet Blue will have a newer fleet as a whole.
- Jet blue offers personal entertainment for every passenger. That's one thing to look into. Unless you plan on just sleeping.
- go jetblue. they have tv's in every seat, do not charge for checked baggage (i'm not sure if american does) and allow seconds for snacks on board. they also actually give you a WHOLE can of soda, not just half.
- definitely jetblue.... they have free direct tv channels, free 1st checked baggage and good snacks and soda drinks for free. Also more leg room, imo they are alot more comfortable then continental and southwest put together
- Put it this way, which aircraft would you rather go in? http://www.airliners.net/photo/JetBlue-Airways/Airbus-A320-232/1484906/L/&sid=213eda4d491f2db904a07461f28d9796 http://www.airliners.net/photo/American-Airlines/McDonnell-Douglas-MD-82/1485015/&sid=0e8a89c0c8342bbe6c4ca504f60aca71 The top one is Jetblue the bottom one is American Airlines
