What evidence is there to prove continental drift?

I have to make a debate for a class. The two sides are fixists and drifters. I am a drifter which means I support the idea of pangea and continental drift. I need to find some evidence to prove that continental drift is what actually happened

1. Okay Alfred W. proposed the idea which wasnt taken into consideration until after WWI and WWII because of the submarines that were going under the ocean and finally started to explore... Well for one the mountain have a sort of connection, I dont have the spec's but there are certain mountains found in the eastern part of the world that are also in the western at one point in time the must have connected. Also certain species of animals were found on different continents. The continents above and under the ground basically have like a pattern. Hope this helps!!!
2. - the mid-atlantic ridge indicates separation. - the natural magnetic striping parallel to the line of separation indicates that (A) the earth's magnetic poles have reversed, and (B) that as the plates separate, and lava hardens, one can calculate the general time period between magnetic pole reversals. - the similarity of fossils in africa and s. america indicates they were joined. - subduction zones indicate converging plates. - satellite measurements available today show movement. - in calif, there are places where you can see lateral movement. (like a fence torn apart where it crossed the san andreas fault.) - some sea turtle migrations indicate that regions they inhabit have moved. that should get you started.
3. Well there is the colloquial evidence that the continents seem to fit together. Probably did that in grade school where you cut them out and try to form Pangea yourself. However, there is a lot more than that. There are numerous fault lines around the world along which earthquakes happen all the time. during significant events the shifting of the plates can be seen quite clearly. There are also huge rift valleys in Iceland and other places where the platyes are pulling apart and volcanism is filling in the voids. Plenty of other stuff on the web. Just take a look.
4. It is all over the internet. To "prove" the idea of plate tectonics has been done, already. The only people that can possibly argue against it are "fundies" (extreme, right-wing Christian fundamentalists). They have no science at their command, only "belief." Let me get you started... See the link I post. That is the common understanding of what is going on...
5. Lots of good suggestions! One way that gives evidence to scientists that hard to budge on continental drift is the use of GPS. In the course of a year, we do see lateral and vertical positions change ever so slightly (somewhere between 1-10cm a year). It's hard to disprove GPS, but I'm sure someone out there is working on an argument for it.
