  1. I would not do it as her name is in the ticket not yours. If a person other than the person named on the reward attempts to use the reward, it will be void and travel will be denied. Altered rewards are also void. OnePass rewards and mileage in your OnePass account may not be sold, bartered, traded, exchanged or purchased, except under programs fully authorized and/or sponsored by Continental Airlines. Rewards and mileage obtained in violation of this rule may result in the termination of your OnePass membership and forfeiture of all mileage in your account. At one time, she could transfer miles to you for $7.50/transfer for 500 miles with a limits of 2500 miles. Call One Pass to see if this is still available
  2. No ......... they double check it ........... # against name.............won't work..........but nice try........
  3. Continental still allows the transferring miles to friends and family. This would be your best bet. Each OnePass account is tied to one person. Because of things like the TSA's new SecureFlight program, it has become even harder to circumvent this. The name on the account must EXACTLY match the name on the boarding pass AND the government issued ID. Your best bet would be to open an account for your mother and then transfer the miles into your account.
