  1. Best thing to do is contact the airline themselves to be sure. you don't want to get ther e & find out you can't use it at the last minute!!
  2. Are you carrying the dog on or is the dog going in the luggage compartment? If you are carrying a dog on, you can use a soft-sided container that fits under the seat. If it is going into the luggage compartment, you need a hard-sided container that specifically states that it is approved for airline travel.
  3. Then call the airline ...DUH!
  4. Izzy, the link doesn't work. The best thing you can do is call the airline and tell them what you have. They will be able to tell you if it would be ok to travel with that particular carrier. Merry Christmas!
  5. Your link doesnt work. If the dog is travelling as cargo, then a soft carrier will not be approved! They must have a solid, hard carrier for cargo. Check with the airline ahead of time if you are planning on taking the dog as carry-on.
  6. The best thing for you to do is to call the airlines and inquire on what their guidelines are; most airlines have a standard requirement for shipping and the crates have to be approved. Also, remember when shipping the dog has to have an airline approved vet visit documentation before most airlines will even allow the dog on the plane. Before shipping you really need to call ~ their regulations maybe standard but their a must before shipping...
