Continental Airline Tickets

Can we earn miles after travelling by Continental airlines if you did not make your reservation thru Conti...?

I made my reservation through another travel site. I have my onepass number printed on the boarding pass and that is where I first saw it because i dont even have a Continental account. Can I use this onepass number in any way to earn miles?

1. Are you sure it's not your confirmation or transaction number. If you didn't sign up for the frequent flyer program, you probably aren't in it. If you do have a FF #, it makes no difference where you book. It's the actual travel that earns the miles.
2. Travel sites don't automatically sign you up for FF program memberships. You need to call Contiental Airleas (talk to a human) and ask.them about the apparent OnePass number.
3. Try to call them and file for missing miles and it should credit.
