is united airlines still trying to merge with us airways or have they decided to go to continental?

Just a few weeks ago united was trying to merge with us airways but now it seems as if they went to continental airlines, so have they changed their minds now or could the 3 of them merge?

2. UAL is said to be in merger discussions with both US Airways and Continental. None of the airlines has confirmed the talks. Reuters reports that United "is now in separate merger talks with Continental Airlines and US Airways for the second time in two years as carriers feel pressure to further cut capacity, build revenue and accelerate the industry's recovery." The New York Times writes "people briefed on the matter cautioned on Thursday that the discussions between Continental and United were in the early stages and could quickly fall apart. And talks between United and US Airways are still going on."
